Ikan bumbu rujak



"Ikan bumbu rujak" is fried fish with spicy and sour sauce. Its Indonesian origin and was known in "warteg" (small restaurant along the street side). U can subtituted any kind of fish instead macarel, its best accompanion with warm jasmine rice :D hmmmmm i couldnt resisted to stop eating :D

Fish macarel 3 pices, ripe tomato 1 big size, red chili 5 pieces choped, 5 pieces bird chili, turmeric powder 1 tsp, candle nut 3 crushed, big onion 1 choped, garlic 3 choped, vinegar 2 tsp, lemon 2, 1 pieces lemon grass, 3 lemon kafir leaves, oil for frying and little water.

wash and clean fish with 2 lemon rinse well. Cut fish into two then add salt and deep fry until brown colour, keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan then saute onion, garlic, chili and candle nut until fragrant. add tomato chopped and stir. Then add lemon grass, lemon leaves and little water. let it boiled one time then add bird chili and vinegar. add salt and turmeric powder and stir frequenly. in the end add frying fish. serve with jasmine rice.

Bakso (Indonesian meat balls)



Bakso or meat ball soup was famous in Indonesia, everybody was enjoying bakso. We can find bakso everywhere in my country, in the street road, traditional market or even in big restaurant. Bakso was served with broth water and accompanion along with noodles, tofu and sprinkle with sprink onion. Most people they loved to added soya sauce, chili sauce and vinegar. Hmmm really yummyyyyyy indeed ;)



Recipe:

Mince meat 250 gr, ice cubes 100 gr, 1 egg white, baking powder 1 tsp, tapioka flour 50 gr, salt as required, garlic, fried garlic 1 spoon.

Mix all the ingiderents using food processor several times, until the meat has become soft.Take one spoon meat then make shape using 2 spoon into ball shape. Boiled one litre water in a pot then bring to boil meat balls just until floating. Drained and keep in the cool water for sometimes. Now meat ball ready to use.

Broth water: bring to boiled one litre water with 2 cubes beef stock, salt, garlic and papper.

Nasi goreng teri



Another version of Indonesian fried rice, its accompanion with small dried fish and egg. Nasi goreng in Indonesian known as breakfast dish, everybody prepared nasi goreng from left over rice at night. Just simple nasi goreng only adding egg as accompanion but nowadays there was so many ingiderents we can add on nasi goreng. Dried fish was familiar in Indonesia, made from any type of fish and fermented with salt and dry it in the sun for few days. Just before used u have to fried them with oil and drained.

Recipe:

2 plate cooked rice ( i used basmati rice), fried dry fish 50 gr, egg 2, onion 1 big size chopped, garlic 3 chopped, chili paste 2 tsp, soya sauce 2 spoon, salt and papper as required, spring onion for sprinkle

Heat oil in the pan the saute garlic and onion until fragrant then add chili paste for 1 min. Add egg then mix together until egg get cooked. Add rice and all the seasoning and stir frequenly. After all add fish fried and sprinkle with spring onion. Serve hot

Gemblong



"gemblong" Indonesian traditional snack made from glutinous rice powder then covered with brown sugar.



Source: yasa boga

Glutinous rice powder 200 gr, sharaded coconut 100 gr, 2 spoon tapioka flour, 1 tsp salt, coconut milk 100 ml, oil for frying.

For brown sugar sauce: brown sugar 175 gr, water 50 ml, 25 gr white sugar

Boiled coconut milk and let it warm, kept a side. Mix all the ingiderents and gradualy stir with coconut milk, knead the mixture until u can make a shape. Divide the mixture into 10 then make oval shape. Fry them until golden colour, drain and set a side.

For sauce: Boiled brown sugar, water and white sugar until foamed afterward put fried sticky rice into the sauce and covered sticky rice with brown sugar sauce. Let it cool and serve.

Blueberry yogurt muffin



My hubby started enjoying my goodies, he asked me to baked something for him last night, and its almost 9pm i decided to make muffin cause i had left over bluberry in the frezher. Yogurt made this muffin very moist and soften, was suitable to accompanion your evening time or to start your day with yummy breakfast *_*



1/2 cup plain yogurt
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup fresh red raspberries or blueberries
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional

Preheat oven to 400°. Lightly grease muffin cups or line with paper cup.
In bowl combine yogurt, milk, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, melted butter, and egg. In separate bowl stir together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda
Combine the mixtures, stirring only until dry ingredients are moistened. Gently fold in berries. Spoon into muffin cups. Baked for 25-30 min.

(Green) Tagliatelle Tuna



Tagliatelle is classic homemade Itallian pasta. They can be served with a variety of sauces, though the classic is a meat sauce or Bolognese sauce. Nowadays i was crazy of green colour, i loved to see something green on my plate, i love to ate fresh green salad, green noddles even green cake! This is the simplest recipe to prepare pasta, it will be great to serve on your candle light dinner with the one you love offcourse do not forget red wine along with it :D



Recipe:
Garlic 3 crushed, 3 tsp olive oil, 150 gr cooked tagliatelle, 5 button mushroom sliced, 1 can tuna drained, 50 ml double cream (milk), pasta mix 2 tsp, salt & white papper.

In saucepan saute garlic with oil, add sliced mushroom and tuna along with the seasoning. Simmer for 1 min then add pasta and cream. Season and serve pasta with grated cheese.

Es campur ceria



Wuihhh summer disini dah kaya oven bocor deh, siang bolong enaknya minum yg seger seger. Es campur ceria isinya seadanya semua yg ada dikulkas dimasukin maklum gicu loh tinggal di gurun hehehehhehehe



Resep

nangka kalengan, nanas kalengan, agar agar (masak spt biasa), kacang merah rebus, es serut, susu kental manis, dan sirup merah.

Campur semua bahan jadi satu dan langsung deh diminum, makkkkkkk nyesss segernya :D

Sup pangsit



Sup pangsit salah satu soulfoodku dulu jaman masih ngekost termasuk menu andalan sebelom berangkat kuliah, pesen satu mangkok pangsit kuah dan bakso sambelnya yg banyak pasti yg jual dah apal, kadang suka ga boleh beli pangsitnya aja maklum pangsitkan temennya mie ayam jadi kudu beli mie juga. berhubung dah langganan tiap hari makanya si tukang mie ga keberatan :D Bikin sup ini dalam rangka pemanfaatan sisa mie ayam jamur kemaren. ayam jamurnya aku bikin isian pangsit dan tinggal bikin kuah kaldunya deh. Abangku ga suka mie dan temen temennya ternyata aku kasi sup pangsit abis semangkok walaupun dimakan apa capati, hihihihihi ga nyambung ya?? gpp deh asal beliau doyan aja dah seneng rasanya *_*

Chicken Karahi



Punya ayam bingung mau dimasak apa akhirnya jadi deh chicken karahi ini. Ini khas Punjab bagian barat India, kalo tanya rasa?? yang pasti enakk dan pedezz, jadi penggemar cabe spt diriku makan ini pasti nambah terus halah dasarnya laper apa rakus ya hihihihihihihi

Here is the recipe :D

5 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 big onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 table spoon ginger, choped
2 to 3 fresh tomatoes, diced
salt as required
2 tsp chili powder
5 green chili, finely split into two
1 tsp ground cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 kg chicken cut into small pieces
2 potato, cut into cubes
1 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons garam masala
1/2 teaspoon dried fenugreek
1 tablespoon finely chopped green coriander
1/2 mustard seed

Heat oil in a large deep frying pan add mustard seed and keep for 1 min. adding chopped onions and fry for 4 to 5 minutes on a medium heat or once the onions are slightly brown. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for a further 1 min. Add the tomatoes, salt, chili powder, green chili, ground cumin and turmeric.
Turn up the heat and further cook for another 1 minute then put in the chicken. Add Water and after stirring the chicken into the spices covered the pan, let chicken get half cooked then add potato.
Turn down the heat slightly and stir in the garam masala and fenugreek and let it all get cooked, sprinkle with coriander leaves and serve warm!

Mie ayam jamur

Nana jadi kebayang bayang makan mie ayam di Bakmi GM, hoaaaaaa mana ada bakmu GM disini ketimbang ileran bikin deh, mayan ngobatin rasa kangen sama mie ayam, slurrrppp kalo bikin sendiri bisa makan ayam jamurnya sampeeee puas

Bahan mie: mie basah atau kering, minyak ayam, kecap asin, taburan daun bawang, ayam jamur, pangsit goreng dan kuah kaldu.

Minyak ayam: goreng kulit ayam dengan 50 gr minyak goreng tambahkan jahe dan tiriskan kemudian saring minyaknya.

Ayam jamur: dada ayam 500 gr potong dadu, jamur kalengan, bawang merah 5 buah, bawang putih 3 buah, kecap manis, garam & merica, black papper 4 butir (optional,jahe
Tumis bawang merah dan bawang putih sampe harum kemudian masukkan jahe serta masukkan potongan ayam dan beri air secukupnya, masukkan kecap manis, garam & merica serta black papper. Biarkan sampe ayam empuk dan hampir matang. Tambahkan jamur dan masak kembali sampe semua matang serta kuah agak mengental.

Kuah kaldu: rebus 1 liter dengan 10 potong sayap ayam serta tambahkan 1 sendok bawang putih halus, jahe, garam dan merica. masak sampe kuah mendidih dan air berkurang 1/2nya.

Terakhir sajikan mie rebus dengan pelengkapnya, jangan lupa saus sambel slurppppppp yummy deh :P

Nasi goreng terasi



Lagi males masak yang ribet jadilah nasgor terasi ini, gampang cepet dan uenak pastinya :D

nasi matang 2 piring, cabe merah 5 buah (aku pake satu aja maklum lagi maag, hiks), bawang merah kecil 4 buah, bawang putih 3 buah, garam & penyedap, terasi 1/2 tsp, kecap manis.

Haluskan semua bumbu kemudian tumis sampai harum, masukkan nasi kecap garam dan penyedap. aduk sampai matang dan sajikan dengan pelengkapnya, telur ceplok, tomat dan kerupuk tempe, uenakkk deh :D

Chicken Kuruma



This is another version of Chicken Kuruma which is last time i has been posted. By adding some spices and yogurt increase the fragrant and chicken becomes moist and tasty. And offcourse will be effect to your appetite to eat more :))

Recipe: Taken from Kerala cook book

Chicken 1 kg cut into small pieces, green chili 6 split into two, ginger crushed 1 spoon, Garlic crushed 4, chili powder 2tsp, coriander powder 2 tsp, turmeric powder 1 tsp, coconut milk 1 cup, curd or yogurt 1/2 cup, onion sliced 2 big size, garam masala powder 2 tsp, cinnamon stick 1, cloves 2, black papper 5 pieces, salt and coriander powder for sprinkle.

Clean and wash Chicken and Cut Chicken in small pieces, wash and keep in a bowl. Mix Chicken & yogurt.
Make the paste of Ginger, Chilly powder, Coriander powder, Green chilly, Turmeric powder, Garlic. Heat oil in a pan splutter Mustard and fry onion.
Add masala paste and sauté well. Add Chicken pieces with Salt and little water, cor for 30 minutes.
When the chicken pieces are cooked nd gravy becomes thick, add Coconut milk and sprinkle with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with paratha or chapati.

Orange puding



Here orange season has come, we brought orange last week and still left over in my kitchen. I got no idea what to do with all the orange we had. Finally i made orange pudings which is easy to prepare and good dessert for sunny day in Abu Dhabi :)

Orange juice (from fresh fruit)500 cc, sugar (as u liked), water 400cc, 1 agar agar swallow globe, vanila essence few drops

Mix all the ingiderents and bring to boil, pour in the puding moul and let it cool. Keep in the refigerator before serving.

Stir fried seafood vegetables



I got tagged from Aisha (paknesia food) to share what was my favorite food, In fact i dont know what is my favorite food because i loved all Indonesian food hehehehe....One of favorite dished is "cap cay" stir fried vegetables with seafood and fish ball. The best cap cay i ever had was at home. My mom she prepared almost2-3 times weekly because all family members love it.



Here i share with you my mom stir fried vegetables recipe, easy to follow and offcourse yummy indeed! The best served warm with jasmine rice and ice lemon tea as companion!

Recipe stier fried

-mix vegetables (carrot, beans, bak choy, cabbage, brokoli or any kind vegetables as u like) spring onion, red onion 1 big size cut into 6 pieces, fish ball 10 pieces cut small size, mix frozhen seafood 100 gr, garlic 4 crushed, oyster sauce 3 spoon, chicken stock 1, salt & papper for taste, few bits of ginger, corn flour 2 tsp, 2 spoon chinese vinegar.

Heat little oil in the pan then sautee garlic for a second then add ginger, add seafood and stir until colour has changed. Add fish ball little water and all vegetables then add all the seasoning. Stir frequenly, add corn flour with little water then put it on vegetables mix to get thick sauce. Sprinkle with spring onion and Serve immdiately!

For Ice tea: prepare tea as usuall then add few drops of lemon juice, add sugar and ice. Stir and serve while its cool

Coconut cokies



I had many left over dried coconut, its almost going to expired and i dediced to make simple coconut cokies.

Grated coconut ( i used dried coconut) 350 gr, butter 200 gr, flour 300 gr, refined sugar 300 gr ( i used only 250) 3 egg yolk, 1 tsp vanila essence.

Heat oven to 400 degrees.Mix sugar, margarine and eggs. Stir in flour, salt and vanila essence. Mix in coconut. Drop by rounded teaspoonful about 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Make shape using fork. Bake until brown colour. Immediately remove from sheet and cool. kept in tight jar.

Spinach thoran



Thoran is tradisional dish in South India "Kerala". There are somany varieties vegetables u can used for thoran. Its sauteed dish of vegetables likes peas, cabbage, beans or spinach mix with grated coconut.

Red spinach 100 gr cut into small pieces, chick peas 50 gr (keep in the water over night then boiled it), onion 1 big size choped, jeera/cumin seed 1/2 tsp, turmeric powder 1 tsp, green chili 5 pices split into two, salt, 1 spoon cooking oil, 5 spoon grated coconut.

Mix together all the ingrederents except oil, then add little water, let it cooked for 10 min. In the end add cooking oil and stir frequenly until it water has finished and dry. Serve hot with jasmine rice

Baked Chicken & Potato


This is baked chicken and potato lebanese style. I got this recipe from one of my collage. Easy to follow and yummy indeed. There are somany variety of vegetables u can grill as acompanion such us tomato, zuchini, onion, or eggplant. Serve warm with green salad and humus!

Chicken 1 kg cut into 8-10 pieces, potato 1/2 kg cut round, lemon 1, garlic 3 crushed, salt as required, chili powder 3 tsp (optional), 2 spoon olive oil.

Wash and clean chicken then keep aside. Mix together lemon juice with garlic, salt and chili powder. Add litle water then marinate chicken for min 15-30 min. Arrange potato sliced in the bottom of oven pan and then arrange marinated chicken on the top of it and sprinkle with olive oil all over chicken. baked for one hour until chicken get cooked and brown colour both side.

Easy Tiramisu


Dah lama banget kepengen makan tiramisu tapi ga keturutan saking malesnya, abis kalo makan tiramisu susah berhenti sih, hehhehee...Kali ini aku buat tiramisu tanpa telur tetep enak koq dan lebih light lagi rasanya ga kebanyakan kolesterol :p Resepnya aku contek dari tetanggaku di Itally, kalo mau liat klik aja disini :D Coklatnya kurang karena keabisan stok tapi tetep yummy indeed koq buktinya udah dicolek colek tuh hihihihihi


2 cups whipping or heavy cream,1/2 cup sugar, 4 tablespoons sugar, 1 cup strong coffee or espresso, 3 tablespoons of creme de cocoa, cognac, or brandy (can substitute strong coffee or espresso), 8 ounces of marscapone cheese, 1/8 cup of cocoa powder, 20 lady fingers or sponge cake, serving dish
Directions:


Direction
1. Whip 1 cup of the whipping cream into stiff peaks, refrigerate while completing the next steps. Add 2 tablesppons of sugar, or to taste.
2. In a separate bowl, whip the marscapone cheese, sugar and 2 tablespoons of cognac. Set aside.
3. Dip the top sides of 1/2 of the lady fingers in the coffee and place in the bottom of serving dish. You will need to cover the bottom of the dish, so only use as many lady fingers as needed to do so.
4. Take refrigerated whipped cream and fold into the cheese mixture.
5. Spread 1/3 of mixture over lady fingers and dust with cocoa powder.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 5, ending with the cheese mixture on top.
7. Take the reserved 1 cup of whipping cream and 2 tablespoons of sugar and whip till soft peaks are formed. Spread mixture over top of cheese layer and garnish with cocoa powder.
8. Chill tiramisu for at least 4 hours before serving!

Oxtail soup



Sapa sih yg ga doyan sup buntut? pasti sebagian pada suka, enak sih hehehehhe...sayang ga boleh sering sering makan karena kolesterol tingggi, tapi sekali dalam sebulan boleh juga kan :D

Ingredients :

500 gr oxtail wash and clean, 2 carrot cut into small pieces, 2 potato cut 6-8 pieces.1 spoon of margarin

Spice: 1 tsp choped ginger, 4 cloves garlic, 1 tsp pappercorn, 1 big size shallot, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp white paper powder. Sugar and salt as required

Garnish: fried shallot, spring onion.

Method :
Put oxtail in a pressure cooker with 1 liters water and bring to the boil.
Discard the stock and replace with 1 liters clean water.
Add chopped ginger and oxtail Cover the pan and simmer over low heat until tender.
Bring the stock to the boil.
Heat margarine and fry ground spices until fragrant.
Add to the boiling stock, then add carrots and potatoes. Add salt and little sugar.
Bring to the boil until the ingredients are thoroughly cooked.
Garnish with fried shallots, spring onions. Serve hot with steam jasmine rice :)

Muffin hijau royo royo ;)


Aku namain muffin "hijau royo royo" karena memang warnanya ijo sih hehehehhe...resep ini aku dapat dr sebuah buku yg aku beli pas mudik kemaren (maap lupa pengarangnya) Yang jelas rasanya enak banget bahkan muffin ini wangi daun pandan. Siap aja pasti suka deh...coba yukkk salah satu variasi muffin yg patut diicoba :D
Ga tau kenapa yah muffinku agak meletus?? biasanya aku buat muffin ga pernah meletus tuh, pencerahan dunk temans :D

Recipe: Green pandan muffin

Ingiderents
egg 2, plain flour 280 gr, cooking oil 50 gr, raisin 50 gr, baking powder 1 1/2 tsp, salt 1/2 tsp, pandan leaves 2, pandan essence 1 tsp, coconut milk 150ml, sugar 150gr.

Direction:
Boiled coconut milk and pandan leaves together, let it cool.
Shift baking powder and flour, keep aside. Whisked together egg and sugar until floofy then combine with flour and baking powder, add pandan essence and gradually add coconut milk and the end add oil.Sprinkle with raisin, Stir carefully and baked on 200 degree.

Sinigang


Beef sinigang ini resep asli orang Filipina, kalo kataku sih ya rasanya mirip banget sama sayur asem Jakarta, hehehhe. Aku suka karena rasanya seger dan kuahnya bener bener nikmat :) Aslinya Sinigang ini asem banget, kebanyang dunk ya kalo orang Filipina masak pasti pake banyak sampe 1/3 cup vinegar. Duh duh bisa kumat dunk ya maag aku, makanya cari alternatif yaitu bikin sendiri. Rasanya ga kalah enak koq masakan restorant :D

Resep: berbagai sumber

Bahan:
kangkung 1 ikat petiki daunnya, kacang panjang 10 lonjor potong pendek, baby corn 5 buah belah beberapa bagian, tomat 1/2 matang ukuran besar 1 buah, daging/ayam/ikan 250 gr.

Bumbu:
Bawang merah besar 1 buah (kalo kecil 5 buah), bawang putih 3 siung, daun salam 1 buah, sinigang seasoning mix (dari mama sita), garam, cuka 1/3 cup (aku ga pake karena sinigang mix sudah cukup asam buat aku)

Cara memasak

Rebus air dan beef sampe daging bener bener empuk, kemudian masukkan rajangan bawang merah, bawang putih, tomat, daun salam, garam dan sinigang mix. Masak sampe mendidih baru kemudian masukkan kacang panjang dan baby corn. Jika sayuran sudah 1/2 matang baru terakhir masukkan kangkung
Sajikan selagi panas dengan nasi putih :)

Pastel



Snack yg selalu ngangenin deh, dulu sih gampang tinggal beli di mba mba yg lewat depan rumah, skg kudu ngubek dapur dulu kalo kepengen makan hehehehhehe. Ternyata buatan sendiri lebih enak lho kulitnya renyah dan empuk, buat pastel ga sesulit perkiraanku ternyata :D




Resep: Yasa boga

Bahan kulit:
Tepung terigu 250 gr, mentega 50 gr, telur 1 buah, garam 1/2 tsp, air 75 cc
Bahan isian:
wortel 1 buah rajang kotak, kentang 2 buah rajang kotak, soun 25 gr, ayam cincang 100 gr, bawang merah dihaluskan, bawang putih dihaluskan, merica +garam + penyedap, larutan air tepung 2 sendok makan

Cara membuat:
Kulit: Campur semua bahan kulit dan tambahkan air sedikit demi sedikit kemudian uleni sampe adonan dapat dibentuk, setelah itu diamkan selama 10 min.
Bagi adonan menjadi beberapa kira kira 10 bagian kemudian giling tipis dan bentuk lingkaran, lakukan sampe adonan habis.
Beri tepung agar kulit tidak lengket satu sama lain.

Isi: panaskan sedikit minyak kemudian tumis bawang merah, bawang putih sebentar. Masukkan ayam giling dan tumis sampe ayam berubah warna. kemudian masukkan wortel dan kentang bubuhi garam +penyedap+ merica serta sedikit air. Masak sampe matang dan masukkan soun terakhir, agar kuah mengental masukkan larutan tepung dan biarkan sampe semua bahan mengering dan matang.

Penyelesain: ambil satu adonan kulit kmd masukkan satu sendok bahan isi serta irisan telur rebus, lipat dan bentuk pinggiran pastel dengan cara dicubit cubit atau kalo punya cetakan pastel lebih mudah, tinggal dicetak menggunakan cetakannya.
Goreng dengan minyak banyak sampe coklat keemasan, tiriskan dan sajikan selama masih hangat :)
