Gemblong
"gemblong" Indonesian traditional snack made from glutinous rice powder then covered with brown sugar.
Source: yasa boga
Glutinous rice powder 200 gr, sharaded coconut 100 gr, 2 spoon tapioka flour, 1 tsp salt, coconut milk 100 ml, oil for frying.
For brown sugar sauce: brown sugar 175 gr, water 50 ml, 25 gr white sugar
Boiled coconut milk and let it warm, kept a side. Mix all the ingiderents and gradualy stir with coconut milk, knead the mixture until u can make a shape. Divide the mixture into 10 then make oval shape. Fry them until golden colour, drain and set a side.
For sauce: Boiled brown sugar, water and white sugar until foamed afterward put fried sticky rice into the sauce and covered sticky rice with brown sugar sauce. Let it cool and serve.
