Kerala Fish Curry

The first time being tried this curry in my friends home an indian family, I immediately liked with it seems that according to me unique was hot and sour.
Recipe was also recorded by her evidently all my family enjoying this curry.
This is traditional fish curry from South India " Kerala", the typical charateristics were on "kadampuli" which has similiar taste with "tamarin".

Kerala fish curry:
Fish (i used king fish) 1 kg
Chilli powder (kashmiri chili powder) 2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger, crushed 1 tsp
Garlic 4 cloves
Small onion sliced 10 pieces
Curry leaves 2 spring
Kodampuli 4 pieces
Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek powder 1/4 tsp
Salt as required

Grind chilli powder, coriander, turmeric, garlic and ½ ginger to a paste. Soak the ‘Kodampuli’ in one cup of water. Heat oil in the pan . Splutter mustard seeds. Fry the cut onions and ginger, when brown add 2 cups of water, salt and soaked Kodampuli together with water. Boil and add fish pieces. Allow it to boil again. Add fenugreek powder and cook till gravy thickens and stir it occasionally. Season it with curry leaves. Remove from fire.

Note: u can find kadampuli in Indian shops similiar with tamarin
